Trinity Church welcomes visitors and members alike at Coffee Hour, which is held in the Fellowship Hall. Here we gather, catch up with old friends and meet new friends.

We need your help in providing the refreshments that we share during this time of fellowship. Sponsoring Coffee Hour is a great way for our ministries to advertise their activities or individuals commemorating special events such as birthdays and anniversaries or to give thanksgivings for blessings.

Each week, Trinity parishioners have the opportunity to contribute to the beauty of worship by dedicating flowers in thanksgiving, in honor of, or in memory of loved ones or to commemorate special occasions such as birthdays, and anniversaries. A dedication will be placed in the bulletin to share the event with the Trinity family. If you are interested in dedicating flowers, you may do so by filling out the form below. Join with us for fun and fellowship as we serve others!

The Trinity Sandwich Makers prepare meals for those in need who attend Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m. each weekday. On average, at least 300 sandwiches are distributed each week (and the number continues to grow as word gets around).

This program of outreach is a labor of love, in line with Scripture. As one of many examples,But even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve — Mark 10:45a. As Christians, we are called to follow the example of Jesus, our model of the Godly life.

All sessions are come when you can…we can always use help! Currently, we have 2 active groups of Sandwich Makers:

1. First Tuesday – Daytime Team meets 10:00am – 12:00pm each month. Contact Donald Hackler, [email protected], for the day crew — or simply show up unannounced!
2. Third Sunday of the month, supplies will be out during Coffee Hour for all to assist in making the sandwiches needed to feed our neighbors who are in need.

Welcoming our guests to Trinity is one way to live into our Mission Statement

Our guests are God’s weekly gift to us, giving us an opportunity to share those He sends to us.

The challenge of integrating guests into a worship community requires a commitment to making all who come feel welcome. A group of energetic parishioners have worked together to develop and implement a process to achieve that goal based on guidelines developed and promoted by the Diocese.

Teams of interested parishioners work before the service helping parishioners with their nametags and helping the greeters. After the service, team members are at the back to assist clergy in greeting our guests and escorting them to coffee hour.

Materials have been prepared to gather information about our guests, to share with them the opportunities for worship and service at Trinity, a gift bag for guests which includes a magnet with Trinity worship information, a card with succinct information about Trinity and its varied ministries, and a snack. Additional materials are continually being created and evaluated.

A significant aspect of this welcoming process is for all our members to participate by wearing name tags so everyone can be greeted by name. This is welcoming to our guests and also for each of us to get to know our fellow parishioners better. Preprinted disposal name tags are available at the back of the church before the service and in the narthex of the chapel.

Taste of Trinity groups gather throughout the year to share meals and build connections across the parish. Occasional events like this brunch bring all groups together for fellowship, conversation, and community.
