Children’s Ministry
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd begins Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Atrium, room 112. We continue until the passing of the peace during the 10:30 a.m. service. All children and youth, ages three to third grade are welcome to join us.
ECC Tweens
Children grades 3 through 6 are invited to meet in room 207, Sundays at 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 am.
Episcopal Youth community
Trinity’s Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) is for those entering 6th grade through 12th grade. Youth participate in fellowship events at the church and in the community, have educational events, and assist in service projects. The EYC also has in special events throughout the year. Youth may take part in Diocesan mission trips, camps, and other activities. They may also participate in events that partner with nearby church youth groups. The youth have shared meeting space above the kitchen featuring air hockey, a pool table, Ping-Pong, and comfortable spaces to congregate.

Youth Sunday School
Youth Sunday School is for grades 6 – 12 and meets from 9:30 – 10:15 am in room 210. This year we are taking a deep dive into the historic creeds (Apostle’s, Nicene, and Athanasian), the Lord’s Prayer, and the Ten Commandments.
Happening Retreat
A weekend renewal retreat for high school youth in the Diocese of Texas, The Happening Movement is a powerful instrument of renewal in the Church. Its purpose is to concentrate closely on the person and teaching of Jesus Christ. Our faith is seriously examined in a relaxed, fun, informal, and loving atmosphere. The Happening weekend is an experience that gives those who attend the desire to understand and serve God through his Church.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates “express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop” (BCP, p. 860). The parent information meeting will be held on August 16, 6pm via zoom. The program begins on August 30th with a special program called “I Commit” and classes are held on every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7-8:30pm, in room 210. The program ends the following year with the Bishop’s visit. Register to attend the meeting here
