Our friends at Interfaith Ministries Houston need volunteers for the Meals on Wheels Program.
Right now, more than 1,700 homebound seniors across Greater Houston and Galveston County are counting on us for their next Meals on Wheels delivery. This delivery isn’t just a hot meal. We also include a breakfast bag of shelf-stable items — and due to a recent increase in demand, we need help from faith communities like yours to keep up! Whether you’re a faith community, a youth group, or a mission committee, your hands are needed now. Volunteer slots are open weekday afternoons and 3rd Saturdays at our Midtown location — an easy, hands-on way to make an immediate difference.
At IM Houston, we bring people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, service, and shared compassion. Our Meals on Wheels breakfast bag program is one of the clearest ways we live that out.
