Bearing Witness, Building Circles: Equipping Clergy and Faith leaders to support Houston’s Immigrant Communities

Please join us for this workshop on Thursday, July 16th, at 12:30 pm.
Amid increased immigration enforcement action in the greater Houston area, this workshop will equip local clergy and lay leaders to build safe spaces of support and accompaniment among their immigrant members by inviting them to gather, share their stories, and find mutual support in these uncertain times. Individuals who attend this workshop will come away with tools and plans on how to:
Communicate the dangers facing immigrants in our congregations and how to help
Create a Story Circle for immigrant communities
Join a larger immigrant strategy to keep our communities safe
