Building a Lasting Foundation

Trinity Church Endowment was established in 1956 by six far-sighted parishioners who saw the need for Trinity to have a financial base. In the over 60 years of its existence, through good times and times of need, it has provided strong support to Trinity. In 2013, Trinity’s Endowment provided a significant portion of Trinity’s operating budget. In the last six years the Endowment has provided, among other things, $250,000 towards Trinity’s purchase of the Bering House property, provided $100,000 of the cost of replacing the Fellowship Hall Kitchen, and approximately $125,000 to refurbish the church’s historic stained glass windows. In the Spring/Summer of 2016, the Endowment Fund has helped replace the outdated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system in the historic church.

There are envelopes in the pews for Endowment gifts. They can be taken home for later use or with a gift placed in the alms basins. Gifts can also be mailed to the church office.
