Second Sunday Concert & Choral Compline

Every second Sunday of the month from September through June, the Trinity Choir leads the singing of Compline. A half-hour concert in the candlelit church precedes the service, which takes about half an hour.
What is Compline?
In short, Compline is a short prayer service with roots in the ancient church.
As is characteristic of monastic offices, Compline consists of psalms, short passages scripture, a hymn, prayers and a canticle (Nunc Dimittis). In keeping with the earliest practices of the monastic communities, Compline is offered when the work of the day is completed, and the quietness of evening settles over the hearts and minds of those who have come to worship.
You’ll find inspiring music and Compline to be the perfect way to end the weekend and center yourself for the coming week.
